So That's What These Do...

Fingers...

They are the topic of conversation these days. Everything is revolving around them, or at least being grabbed by them. Nicho has discovered that he has full control over his appendages, and nothing is safe!

After having quite an "eventful" night (as in not sleeping after 2 am) Mr. Nicholas did something amazing. He grabbed his soother out of his mouth, looked at it, and then decided that it belonged in his mouth, so back in it went! I instantly forgot the morning of no sleep, and gawked in awe at the brilliance of my child! I couldn't believe it, and it didn't stop there. For the rest of the day, he was using his fingers to their full ability.

We were sitting in front of the mirror (he might be a tad bit of a narcissist, he loves looking at himself) and our very furry cat, Chloe, strolled by, minding her own business and not paying any attention to the loud lap hogger in my arms. The next thing she and I know, Nicho has a fistfull of Chloe's hair... and she just layed there and stared at him.

In addition to discovering his ability to grab handfulls of everything, he has also figured out how to move himself. He has figured out how to rock in his chair, and how to get to his favorite toy on his play mat. I can't believe how time flies... It is hard for me to comprehend that Nicholas isn't going to be a baby forever, but I guess that is all part of this crazy thing called Motherhood...
